  1. Lease Termination Update

    Attention public housing residents: due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, an extended period is in effect for notification of lease termination due to nonpayment of rent. Until further notice, families will receive no less than 30 days’ advanced notification of lease termination due to nonpayment of rent. Bangor Housing will also provide families with information on available emergency funding.

  2. Board Meeting Notice (Sept)

    Please take notice that the Board of Commissioners (the “Board”) of the Housing Authority of the City of Bangor (“BHA”) will hold its regular meeting for the month of September on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 12:00 p.m.
    Because BHA has closed its office to the public in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the Board meeting will be conducted via telephone conference call. This meeting will be open to the public.

  3. BangorHousing 2022 Annual Plan

    PUBLIC NOTICE

    The Housing Authority of the City of Bangor (BHA) has developed its 2022 Annual Plan, which includes revisions to its Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy and Administrative Plan. The Annual Plan and revisions are available for review on BHA’s website (link below) and at its office located at 161 Davis Road, Bangor, during its business hours, Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Please call for an appointment.

    A public hearing on the Annual Plan and revisions will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at BHA’s office at 12:00 p.m.  The public is invited to attend and comment.
