PUBLIC NOTICE

The Housing Authority of the City of Bangor (“BangorHousing”) has prepared a proposed amendment to its 2026 Annual Plan relating to the conversion of Birch Circle and Griffin Park from public housing assistance to Project-Based Voucher assistance through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (“RAD”) program and a related Section 18 disposition application (the “RAD/Section 18 Blend”).

The proposed amendment, which describes the details of the RAD/Section 18 Blend, is available for public review at 161 Davis Road, Bangor, Maine, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and on BangorHousing’s website at www.bangorhousing.org.

A public hearing on the proposed amendment will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at 161 Davis Road, Bangor, Maine. Interested persons are invited to attend and comment. Written comments may also be submitted to BangorHousing at 86 Davis Road, Bangor, Maine 04401, prior to the hearing.
