PUBLIC NOTICE
The Housing Authority of the City of Bangor is closing the waiting lists for all its public housing properties, effective at 5:00 p.m. on January 30, 2026. This closure applies to all bedroom sizes at all locations. Applications with a postmark, electronic submission, or drop-off date after the closure of the waiting lists will not be accepted.
Public notice will be provided when BangorHousing reopens its waiting lists.
Birch Circle, a Public Housing property located at 1160 Ohio Street, Bangor, Maine 04401. Birch Circle is 2- and 3-bedroom family housing. Head of household must be at least 18 years old. The 2025 income limits for Birch Circle are as follows:
